Somage Fine Foods create premium chocolate, tea and coffee bean products, supplying these to cafes, fine foods stores and coffee companies and distributors. Frustrated by poor standard beverages in the hospitality industry, Nathan Wakeford and Ben Kelly set about creating the best premium quality drinking chocolate. With the launch of their Kali Premium Drinking Chocolate, which quickly captivated cafe owners and patrons alike, Somage was born.

Get Started developed the Somage website using the Kentico content management platform. This powerful CMS allows Somage a high level of control over their website, manages their online store (products, shopping cart and credit card payments) and orders, and allows flexibility around the growth of both the site and business. Get Started worked with Somage to determine the key features for each stage of their online store - from customising what information is displayed for products, to how the shopping cart system works, to ensuring the online payments are secure and make Somage's customers feel comfortable and safe buying through the site. The Somage site also takes advantage of Kentico's product filtering and product search features. Get Started set these up to work as required on the site, and finally integrated the design (by Taylor & Grace) into the Kentico system before launch.

Somage worked with a partner design firm of Get Started, Taylor & Grace, to design the website. The design speaks to the upper echelons of the fine food industry by presenting plenty of white space and a minimalistic, clean design. Sewn through the simplicity of the design, however, is a touch of playfulness and a unique style, keeping with the spirit of Somage as a company that is conscientious about the environment and passionate about fine foods.
